Let’s build sustainable partnerships across borders — connect with IETO today.
India & SCO Strategic Engagement
India became a full member of the SCO in 2017. This marked a significant shift in India’s foreign policy to deepen engagement with Eurasia and strengthen regional partnerships beyond South Asia.
India views the SCO as an important platform to promote regional stability, fight terrorism, improve economic and energy connectivity, and enhance cultural and educational ties with member states. Despite challenges like the presence of China and Pakistan in the grouping, India continues to use the SCO to promote its strategic and developmental interests.
Our Footprint Across SCO Nations
IETO has established strong partnerships and diplomatic connections across SCO member states, including Russia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan — advancing India’s trade diplomacy and business collaboration.
